Last year, we had our biggest Touch A Truck event so far, and it was a blast! We're excited to do it again and invite the entire Deer Park community to join us for a day of family fun activities!
Bring the children to explore all sorts of equipment and vehicles. Some of the incredible vehicles we have featured for hands-on experiences and photo opportunities include:
Dump Trucks, Tow Trucks, Fire Trucks, Police Vehicles, a SWAT Truck, and various Construction Equipment like Backhoes, Tractors, and Rollers, as well as a Greyhound Bus, School Bus, Garbage Truck, and more!

We will also be hosting a *Stuff A Truck* event to help the City of Deer Park - Park Board collect donations for the Deer Park Community Schools!
Items requested include:
- School Supplies (pre-sharpened pencils)
- Sample toothpaste
- Toothbrushes
- Regular and super tampons
- Ultra Thin Pads
- New bags of t-shirts specifically L/XL/2-3XL
- Ladies underwear packs L/XL/2XL
- Individual Snacks (PEANUT FREE) like Cheez-Its, Goldfish, and granola/protein bars
- Tissues
- Clorox wipes
- Paper towels
- Deodorant
- Quick card games like Uno that can be played at lunch
- Baby Wipes
- Gloves L/XL
- Fidgets
- Prize trinkets for rewards
These items were suggested by admin teams, nurses, and teachers! They will be sorted and distributed between the High School and Amity. Please reach out if you have questions!
We will utilize the field in front of the New Pavilion, weather permitting. If the field is too wet, we may move to the community center lot.
To schedule bringing a truck, please contact, text, or call Skip Brinkman, Coordinator, at 513-259-0525.
Tentatively, the Park Board will have some concessions available (while supplies last), including hot dogs on the grill, soda pop, popcorn, and candy! "NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL PERMITTED" so please leave your coolers at home. Cash or Tap and Pay are accepted, with proceeds going toward Chamberlin Park improvements.
***As with any event in the park, we DO NOT SELL any ticketing online or use any third-party services. The Park Board does not accept any registration or payments online! If there is any registration, it is done in person at the event. Our only source of online donations is through the link above on the DONATE tab.***
